Taco Casserole (food storage)

1 can hamburger (2 lbs fresh hamburger)
1 15oz can red beans (or kidney, black, etc.)
1 15oz can corn
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp dried red/green bell peppers
1 cup dried potato pearls (regular dried or fresh work as well)

Taco Seasoning:
1 tsp Powdered onion
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp crushed dried red pepper
1 tsp sweet basil
1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp. Chilli powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder

1. Heat can of hamburger (including liquid) and dried bell peppers-simmer till peppers are rehydrated and some of the liquid is evaporated. (abt. 5 minutes-drain off some of the liquid if heating is a problem)
2.  Add beans, corn
3. Add tomato sauce
4. Mix taco seasoning and add to above, stir well and heat through
5. Place in a casserole pan
6. Reconstitute potatoes- add 2 cups hot water to 1 cup potato pearls, stir with fork
7. Cover meat mixture with reconstituted potatoes
8. Sprinkle with cheese if desired
9. Heat in oven to desired temperature at 350 degrees.
