German Chocolate Cake Frosting

1 cup evaporated milk

1 cup sugar

3 egg yolks

1/4 lb. butter (1/2 cup)

Cook over low heat until thick, remove from heat and add:

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/3 cup coconut

1 cup chopped nuts.

Beat until cool.
