Famous Aunt Kim's Sugar Cookies

makes 5 dozen cookies, can freeze half of batch, or make half batch

combine:
2 cups butter (4 sticks)
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

fold in:
16 oz sour cream

in a seperate bowl combine:
8-10 cups flour, (I tend to aim around 8, since as you work the dough you add in more anyway)
3 tsp soda
2 tsp salt
slowly add this to butter mixture. Roll out to about 1/3 of an inch thick and bake @ 350 for 8-10minutes. Jjust until shine comes off top, they finish baking on the pan after you pull them out. Let set on pan for 3-4 minutes and then transfer to wire wrack.)
