Hamburger Minestrone

1/2 cup small uncooked pasta shells
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 can (14.5oz each) beef broth
1 package (16 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
1 can (16oz) kidney beans, rised and drained
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
3 tsp Italian seasoing
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp each: dried thyme, dried basil and pepper

-Cook pasta accoding to package directions. Meanwhile, in a soup kettle or large saucepan, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
-Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 15 minutes. Drain pasta and add to the pan. Cook 5 minutes longer or until heated through.
