Divinity


 
3 cups sugar

¾ cup corn syrup

½ cup water

3 egg whites

1 tsp. vanilla

¾ cup nuts

 
 
Mix sugar, water and syrup. Boil to 230º. Pour half of sugar-syrup over stiffly beaten egg whites. Beat constantly. Boil remainder of syrup until it reaches crackle stage then add to whites.
